We are very excited to announce the first treatment of a patient in the U.S. with EYETRONIC!

Mid July 2025 the first patient has started the Eyetronic treatment as part of a clinical trial at the Glaucoma Center of San Francisco, one of the largest stand-alone glaucoma clinics on the West Coast.

We highly appreciate the work of the Glaucoma Center of San Francisco, run by Executive Director Andrew Iwach, MD as well as the whole team involved, including the Principal Investigator of the study: Sunita Radhakrishnan, MD.

• New publication regarding the topic Optic Nerv Stimulation (ONS)

In August 2024 a paper by Granata et al. was published which focusses on electrical stimulation in ophthalmology.

The title is: "Transorbital Alternating Current Stimulation in Glaucoma: State of the Art from Neurophysiological Bases to Clinical Practice".

This review article emphasizes the importance of looking at optic nerve stimulation as a therapy for neuropathic conditions, like glaucoma.
